Humans did not Evolve from Monkeys - here's what Biology actually says on the topic.
First, preachers often tell their congregation that Science is wrong because we didn't Evolve from Monkeys.
Biology agrees. While we did Evolve, Scientist don't put forth the argument that we came from Monkeys.
The truth of the matter is that Humans Evolved from an ancient Primate, just like the other Primates did.
Consider the Primate Evolution Tree, which is pictured below. Every branch on the Primate Tree has a different Primate on it. On one branch is Monkeys, on another branch would be Apes, on another branch would be Orangutans, and so forth, and on one branch are Humans (Homo Sapien Sapiens).
Since Humans have their own individual branch on the Primate Tree, that proves we didn't Evolve from any other Primate - we didn't branch off from any other Primate Species.
Humans, like most Species on the Primate Tree, simply have a Primordial, Primitive, common ancestor. Every Species on the Tree has a common Primitive ancestor which is the base of the tree.
We have yet to find what Primate is at the base of the Tree - we've yet to find Bones or Fossil evidence to show us what that Primordial, Primitive, common ancestor is that all Primates have.
So, there you have it, Humans, which are Scientifically called Homo Homo Sapiens, Humans did not Evolve from Monkeys or any of the other Primates. We share a common ancestor along with the other Primates, but we didn't Evolve from any of them.
